Thank you to:
Ms. Drazevic, Ms. Diago, Ms. Laurenzano, Ms. Nelson, Ms. Pena, Ms. Scigliano, and to the parent volunteers for organizing the Early Childhood Halloween Parade on October 31st! It was such a great way to get into the Halloween spirit, and show off the great costumes.
Ms. Scigliano and Ms. Pachon for working together on an All Saints’ Day joint project. At Mass today, the community joined together to see their hard work in action, as the 3rd graders presented their Saint biographies, with their Kindergarten partners by their side, dressed up to represent the holy individuals.

On Friday June 15th our 8th graders graduated from St. Mel’s Catholic Academy. They received awards, honors, recognition, and their diplomas. You have worked very hard and made your parents, our school, and community very proud. This year’s commencement speaker was Marist Brother and 1981 alumnus Br. Daniel O’Riordan, and a very big thank you to Mrs. Kayla Vallone our 8th grade teacher. Congratulation to our graduates and may God bless you as you move on to high school.
As the school year winds down the 7th grade has been enjoying their end of year activities. They showed great sportsmanship during the annual Sports Day while setting the bar high for the upcoming 6th grade class. They were supportive to both teams and had a blast. They also spent a beautiful day outdoors for the Walk-a-Thon where they were able to raise funds for our school. The 7th grade also enjoyed sharing in their classmates achievements by attending the presentations from the Aquinas and Oratorical Programs. They were very proud and happy to see what their classmates worked so hard on throughout the year. On behalf of the 7th grade class, have a wonderful summer!
